One drawback to elaborate Halloween costumes: It's so hard to see and be seen when you're in disguise. But the revelers at uber-party planner Andre Wells's annual dress-up party seemed to have gotten over that one. Feathers, sequins, masks and wigs abounded -- as did the sense that the VIP gathering, held Saturday night at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, was one of the hotter invites in town.
